Public Information

Public Sharing

When we use the phrase "public information,” we mean the information you choose to make public. You are in complete control of which information is public, which is not and who sees it.

Creating a “public link” for one of your jots will only make that specific jot public. Then you are in control of who you share that link with. You can turn the public link on and off any time you want which will make it no longer visible to anyone except for you. There is no piece of information about you or your content on EasyJot that is public to anyone without your consent.

Therefore, EasyJot is not responsible for the information that you choose to make public. EasyJot is also not responsible for the information you choose to send to other individual’s as you are in control of who you send your information to. EasyJot recommends that you strongly and carefully consider how you use these services as anyone you send your information to will be able to read, collect and use the information you send or share with them.

Private Sharing

You are also in complete control of which information is shared and which is not. You can un-share with the people you have shared with at any time which will immediately terminate their access to your jotpad. Therefore, EasyJot is not responsible for the information that you choose to share with other users.

Sharing a jotpad with other EasyJot jot users will allow them to see all of the information you have stored in that jotpad. They will also be able to edit your jots and add new jots of their own to that jotpad. Because of this, EasyJot recommends that you strongly and carefully consider how you use these services as anyone you send your information to will be able to read, collect and use the information you send to them.
